Massage

Really looking forward to tonight’s massage. Yancy and I go every other week during training. It’s a sports massage that helps with my chronic back pain as well as muscle health/recovery after some of our more intense training days. I have great insurance at Virginia Mason that allows us to get up to 45 massages per year. We go to Jim Van Vleet at Redmond Therapeutic Center who has been great to us, staying later in the evenings to get each of us in, and always does a fantastic massage.

Massage should be a part of every athlete’s training schedule. I’m not complaining! Now if only core strength training was as enjoyable.   😛
